Nell
Nell is a 10 and ½ year old female, spayed, German Shepherd who presented to oncology due to lack of appetite caused by a painful mass in her mouth. CT scan revealed a large mass originating from within the bone of the left lower jaw. Three quarters of the left lower jaw was removed with surgery. The biopsy report determined the mass to be benign and completely excised. Nell has healed well and is back to fetching sticks and playing her favorite sport, soccer!
