Digital radiography services are available at both our Greenville and Asheville locations. We recommend that you do not feed your pet after 10 pm the night before your pet's appointment in case anesthesia or sedation is required. Water can be given up until the time of the appointment.
Information for referring veterinarians.
Upstate Veterinary Specialists was the first to add digital radiography at both our Greenville and Asheville locations. Using technology not yet available in many human medical facilities, radiographs are now recorded in digital format, rather than on film, allowing them to be transmitted to any computer in our Greenville hospital or Asheville clinic, as well as to radiologists at other locations within seconds. It is a much faster process, causing pets much less stress. This technology also provides a dramatic increase in image quality, allowing for more accurate diagnoses. Upstate Veterinary Specialists is the first veterinary hospital in South Carolina to apply this technology.
