Before You Arrive

We understand that veterinary visits can be scary for pets, but our dedicated team works hard to ensure your pet’s veterinary experience is as stress-free as possible. If your family veterinarian is unable to care for your pet in an emergency situation, Upstate Vet is open 24/7, 365 days a year, including weekends and holidays.

You do not need an appointment for your pet to be seen by our emergency team; however, a call ahead to (864) 233-7650  is appreciated so that we can expect your arrival.

For specialty services, please be sure your primary family veterinarian has submitted a referral form prior to calling our hospital for an appointment.

Visitation Policy

If your pet is hospitalized, our goal will be to get them back to their home environment as soon as possible. During their stay, we will be in touch with you daily to update you on your pet’s progress.

Visitation will be handled on a case by case basis. Your pet's doctor will work with you based on what’s best for your pet.
