Upstate Vet Emergency & Specialty Care (UV - Greenville)

Overview
Upstate Vet diagnoses and treats a wide variety of canine and feline neurologic conditions and diseases. Dogs and cats can suffer many of the same nervous system, brain, spinal cord, and neuromuscular problems that humans do including epilepsy, ruptured discs, spinal cord injuries, head trauma, brain tumors, and many more. While many of these neurological disorders and injuries may cause great distress for us and our pets, many can be treated very successfully.
Our Neurology Service Includes:
The neurology department at Upstate Vet offers advanced imaging and surgical care for a wide range of neurological disorders. Our board-certified veterinary neurologist routinely performs many types of neurosurgical procedures. The use of special imaging techniques is a vital part of the diagnosis and treatment of most neurological problems. CT scanning, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and myelography (x-rays of the spine with contrast agents outlining the spinal cord) help us diagnose your pet’s problem and determine if surgery is indicated.
Your pet’s care will be managed by a caring and compassionate neurology team from the moment of check-in to the time of discharge. Whether your pet is here for imaging, surgery, or ongoing treatment, our neurology team will be with you every step of the way. We are committed to providing you and your pet with personal and compassionate specialty care, and we pride ourselves in being your vet’s partner in the overall health of your pet.
